Lauded for the ethereal, lyrical beauty of her singing voice, her versatile stylistic range, and her beguiling stage persona, Megan McConnell is an emergent artist on the rise. Trained at an early age in classical music, Megan earned a degree in vocal performance where she sang as a soloist for the Kent State University Orchestra and as a frequent soloist with the Kent State University Opera while also singing and covering major roles with professional companies such as Nightingale Opera Theatre, Solon Center for the Performing Arts, and Pittsburgh Festival Opera. Megan was a three-year soloist with the Ohio Celtic Beltane Festival before relocating to Asheville, North Carolina where she has been a soloist with the Blue Ridge Orchestra and with Celtic Fiddler Jamie Laval. In her spare time, Megan manages her own successful voice and music theory studio in Asheville, North Carolina.
